I am really interested in getting the HAWK kit, but I would imagine the midi transit/receive settings are inside the edit parameters, right? I am more interested in real-time control...
Would it be terribly hard and/or risky to add a physical switch in the midi-out wiring? So that it could be controlled in real-time with an added button?

I could also have my sequencer controlling my Poly 800, but turn off receiving midi when i don't it to be sequenced (without having to go over to my sequencer and turn off the Poly 800 track).
