Hey thanks for all the replies guys. Much appreciated.

Yes, Don it is the Mk1 (reverse keys) - but the in-between version with the solder pads and a little battery symbol on the cct board in between them! I think what I shall do is reverse the mod I made (luckily I only cut component legs and can easily re-connect) and I'll do the R1/D1 mod instead. Funny though how I never noticed this top ovtave bleed-through before.
