Hello.... anybody out there??

Sometimes I feel like I'm having a conversation with myself on here, but the hits I get on my vids seem to indicate at least some peeps are out there listening.. well about 30 of you so far since my external audio IN post...


Anyways, I was curious if HAWK800 owners out there might be interested in submitting their patches that they've come up with on their Poly's now that they can do so much more.

I'm very grateful that Mike supplied a basic patch set for us to fill up the banks in our newly modified Korg's, but it seemed to me that most of them were the same default patches that the original Poly 800 had from the mfr. Correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm just thinking we could all benefit from a refreshed set of patches. I'm sure I have sounds I made that you have not discovered yet that you would like and likewise you have made sounds that I would like to have, but havnt had the time to discover yet.

This has been on my mind for quite some time and I can't think why it would be too terribly difficult to accomplish if we could chip in with submitting a single bank of our favorite patches we've managed to wrestle out of our unique little machines.
Slowly but surely, I've managed to come up with some pretty wild sounds out of mine and I'm just about to fill up one bank, finally.

And I dont mean sounds that the orig. Poly could do, I mean all sounds that it never could do.

It sure makes me wonder just what the rest of you have come up with.
It'd be really nice if we could collaborate a nice collection of cool sounds that could be wrapped up into a set of banks to cram into our HAWKS and give future HAWK800 buyers something to play around with right "out of the box".


Anyway, I'm all for any comments/suggestions on how to go about to do this.. maybe even make some kind of contest out of it? Who knows.
I dont even know if the past 100 buyers of Mike's kits are still even listening in on this board anymore.. or did they do the mod, play with it for about a week and then set it aside to collect dust.. in part because it can take so much time to sit and build up new patches.
