Yep. This is what my tin foil hat looks like except I colored in some hair, side burns, and a stylish steampunk goatee!

Yes it seems there are different ways to count sunspots, but to me the outcome is the same.

The difference between The Carrington Event and now is enormous. Consider all the technology that could go out now. The populous is far greater too. People would freak out just not being able to get into their bloody bank accounts regardless of the electromagnetic effect to the body.

"Fear is the Mind killer"(Dune), one of my fav movies....

"People are dumb panicky animals" (Men in Black)...

Oh, I could go on and on. I'm not going to.

Truth is, I was just soap-boxing to;
A. Maybe get people to think more. (never hurts to try)
B. Help save some face for our fellow synth nut.

Seriously, I make mistakes. I greatly appreciate when I get some help or insight to help me own up to those mishaps. It may be hard at first, but it takes a lot of strength to admit to being in the wrong.

My example: I play disc golf. Some times I throw a really bad drive, approach, or put. Hit a tree, rock, pond, etc...
I learned to say out loud, "that's my disc"!
You see, when I immediately own what I've done, the energy is cleared and doesn't get a chance to build up. If I don't OWN it and start thinking, "shit, now i really have to make this shot to get par!", the pressure builds and I play worse and worse. Snowballing into rage. So, now I keep my game cool and it works out.

I agree. We are not condemning here. We are supporting.

I'm over it already. This topic is dead.

Also, A new video from you would be great! you got a cool accent.

I'm off the program some new patches for the atomahawk, and maybe I'll post them later..

Peace out Turds!

J.

But also, you should ponder that no one went stark raving mad when that event occurred. So the causal connection of solar flares and unhappy HAWK customers is extremely tenuous and you will certainly have to work hard to provide more evidence before I will change my customer support hours to match Solar activity. Can you imagine how (un)happy HAWK customers will be when I refer them to http://www.landscheidt.info/?q=node/50 (which is the ACCURATE sun spot count, unlike spaceweather.com) telling them that I can't help them with their capacitor positions until we have another blank sun?(!)

In fact, I sincerely hope that John is OK because, to be honest, his outburst followed by total silence is slightly worrying.
