Subject: Re: [korgpolyex] Poly 800 Mk1 audio out jack exact replacement availability?

Silly questions coming up

Have you checked the soldering on the jack socket itself?

Have you tried a different cable?

Usually it's cracked solder on the jack socket, or you can use a screwdriver sometimes to bend the actual 'finger' contacts inside the jack itself if they have lost some grip. If the jack has dirty contacts inside usually a good amount of insertions cough ahem, clears that problem up.
So, cracked solder or faulty cable?

Martin

Subject: [korgpolyex] Poly 800 Mk1 audio out jack exact replacement availability?

Hi all,

Is there a direct pin for pin replacement for the Mk1 Poly 800's audio out jack (L/Mono) available and where would I purchase it?

The signal is all scratchy and have to move the audio lead around to get the signal clean.

Thanks for your help.
