Thanks for the information.
I also have an EX-800 and was deciding to buy or not to buy the HAWK mod.
My only concern is the difficulty level of the installation.
Any comment would be appreciated.

I can vouch for both mods. I have them installed on my ex-800 and they work great. The one thing that I have to say about the sound that you may or may not like is that the digital steps of some filters can be heard on a fast sweep due to the type of pot being used. When you have a Moog slayer installed the sweep will be smoother because it is a fully analog mod. I actually like the sound, but there is an audible difference that is worth mentioning.
There is tons of functionality added and Mike stands behind his work. You won't regret your purchase.
