Hi Poly fans,
For those of you with the HAWK-800 installed, there is an interesting and potentially useful feature under development.
I am about half way through developing the real time sequencer editing features.
As it stands now, I have a "punch in" feature working for inserting rests into running sequences.
You hold down the "Bank Hold" button and then press the "Write" button in order to punch in rests into a running sequence.
The altered sequence then plays (the original is untouched in memory at this time) as sequence "8" which then becomes selectable as you would select any of the FLASH memory sequences found in locations 1 through 7. Punch in doesn't change the length of the sequence. It just overwrites existing notes with rests.
You can go back to the original sequence by simply selecting the original sequence again.
I have two more features to finish in order to make the real time sequence editing complete.
First, allow copying of the altered sequence (8) into any of the flash sequence memories (1-7). EASY
Second, allow holding down the Bank Hold button and then playing notes. Those played notes would then be punched into the running sequence. HARD
I will let you know when the above two features are completed in turn.
Cheers,
Mike
