Subject: Re: [korgpolyex] Re: HAWK-800 front panel decal

I downloaded a seven segment font set from here: http://www.twyman.org.uk/Fonts/

I created the decal in OpenOffice Draw version 3.1. Everything looks fine with the decal in Draw.

When I export it to PDF, somehow the font is getting its alignment messed up.

I am going to send the Draw doc and the PDF to the guy who put the font together and see if he can come up with a reason why and maybe a fix.

Meantime, I've attached the Draw document so that people can print it out for themselves.

I got very frustrated trying to remember the harmonics combinations and the different LFO waveforms. And I am surprised no one had asked me what the extra two values (12 and 13) are in the LFO waveform parameters. Those are for routing EG3 or EG3 inverted to the particular chosen modifier. Basically, you can route EG3 to any of the modulators instead of LFO waveforms. I look forward to hearing some patches from ppl that use this cool undocumented feature.

Anyway, I just had to improve the accessibility of the different parameters so the decal came into being.

See attached and enjoy!

Mike.

Mike,
This is way better than hunting and pecking in the manual. A pdf is cool, a mylar is even cooler. I told you I was thinking of doing this to help with writing patches. This is much nicer than anything I could have dreamed up. Did you do the graphics? I realize the font didn't translate for crap, but hey it is what it is. Nice job!!!
