Subject: Re: [korgpolyex] poly 800 won't hold program

If you have five C batteries in the Poly-800, then the patches should stay.

But, there is also a location on the main printed circuit board for installation of a lithium battery.

On some early main boards, there are no pads for the battery to install onto. But most boards do have the pads.

They're right smack in the middle of the main board. Check to see if there's a lithium battery soldered in there.

Mike.

is there a reason that my old poly-800 won't hold it's program.
it works fine, but, turn it off and everything is gone.
is there something hiding inside to look for.
