Subject: Re: [korgpolyex] Re: Moog Slayer + 12/24 db Filter Mod complete!...

Yeah, that was a low point in the day.  I was planning on moving it but then really wanted to try it out...  Painter's tape isn't really a good idea, I know, though it does actually stick in comparison to crappy electrical tape.

I plan on labeling the switch with a fine paintbrush or something... maybe.  I like the idea of "Make it sound good?  ON/OFF", especially since I probably won't be hitting that switch that much except if I use it live and need to deepen it up or hide it in the mix temporarily.

I actually braided the three wires.  Seemed clever at the time.  Hah!

That switch is unbelievably sweet looking, totally inspiring...nice.

Not so sure about that tape on the capacitor, that's why I took it right off the board and
soldered it to the switch terminal...it seems safer because you can put the wire right
through the board nice and secure with no risk of bridging something unintentionally...

Ok, after a few days with this synth...I'm still really impressed...It really excels at one thing,
and sort of only one thing, but it does it sooo well...that awesome weedy wide open retro
"rave organ thing"...

Damn, but everything is still a 5th out cause of the missing joystick..Must, stop writing
tracks and fix the tuning...BUT it's toooo fun to stop...dammit... ;)
