Those seven spots are used by the front panel buttons.

So they are not free.

make a complete tutorial in PDF, also incluiding all mods I can do on this

BTW: Something I never tried:

Taking a look at the keyboard scanning matrix of the Poly-800, seems
that there are space for 7 more keys :)

Who knows what can be done there? :o)
