I have tried the E-bow with a midi gtr.
The E-bow will produce the same note/sound as a pick, but because of its slow attack, its much harder to predict when the note will actually sound.
It sounds great on a bass with a little distortion. :)

Wonder what it would sound like to use an Ebow with the guitar synth?
I've seen some videos of Tommy Bolin using an early guitar synth/processor with the James Gang, but he was such a magician it would have been complete crap if anyone else played it.  ;^)

Hey Gor, The Digitech still has some latency because it's still
converting pitch info into midi. The latency is 1/3 to 1/2 the GM-70
but it's still noticeable. Like Zoinky said you're plodding along
trying to break the sound barrier but it's always just out of reach.

Atom, He he, yes I've played washtub bass too. No techno there though.
Are we way OT yet or what??? Stay tuned as the moderator bans us all...
Sorry Mike! We still love you!!!
