Sound doctorin, in Montana. The guy sells mostly used keys, and I -Mailed him out of the blue asking if he had a junk Poly of EX laying around. He did, and sold me the NJM for $20.00.
 
Anyway, any input on the battery mod ? It'd be nice to save patches.

Hey all ! I solved my NJM Filter problem (Thanks !). Found a used one
for $20 and replaced it, and as I assumed, it was the missing leg (No
11) It was indeed keeping Osc 1 from sounding.

Now, I also did a battery mod, but it's not saving patches. I'm
thinking I did it wrong. Here's a pic.

The Diode goes to the negative terminal on the battery, and the
positive goes where the leg of the diode used to be soldered. Did I do
it right ?
