The AtomaHawk upgrade kit is now available and we are ready to take
your orders!
The kit is just $29 dollars and shipping about $6.
If you've successfully installed the HAWK-800 then you are probably up
to the AtomaHawk installation too.
But, make sure you check the AtomaHawk construction and installation
instructions so that you understand the level of difficulty.
For those of you who are new to the group and are not sure what this
is about. The AtomaHawk is the second upgrade kit that adds on to the
HAWK-800. You must have the HAWK-800 kit installed and working first
before installing the AtomaHawk. Both kits work in the Poly-800 Mk1
and EX-800. The kits do NOT work in the Poly-800 MK2 (there are plans
to make that kit available but no date as yet).
The HAWK-800 provides dramatically upgraded MIDI and sound generation
features. While the AtomaHawk puts extreme resonance (Moog Slayer
mod), quasi FM modulation (FM-800 mod) and 12/24db filter slope under
software control. You can still install both kits even if you have
already installed the original mod's. The two kits complement each
other and the original mod's.
