OK, I was holding off on making this public but...
The next firmware releases will contain the following (depending on resources one or more bugfixes or features may be held off to next scheduled release):
November 15th minor release
i) bug fix - keyboard tracking parameter gets scrambled by resonance when set through extended parameter 51.
ii) bug fix - parameter bank hold does not display decimal point after exiting extended parameter edit mode.
iii) bug fix - slow down flash backup as it slows down keypad functions too much.
December 20th minor release
any found bug fixes
January 17th minor release
i) Joystick parameter editing mode (left right controls parameter number, up down controls parameter value)
ii) MIDI NRPN controller change parameter editing.
iii) AtomaHawk Moog Slayer and FM-800 parameter mathematics changes (to improve modulation depth and envelope control)
February 14th
any found bug fixes and...
i) Sequencer end EG3 retriggering
ii) tremolo waveform selection (currently only sawtooth but will be expanded to all possible waveforms).

Ok that is a great snippet.
I am assuming that you did this with the Moog Slayer mods in place - right?
If not, how did you control the filter? Or were you just using the keypad to change parameters the hard way?

In the subject of 303-ish Poly-800 some time ago I've made a patch that works pretty good in terms of emulating squelchy distorted 303-ish sound:
