Subject: Re: [korgpolyex] Finally opened my EX-800

I've searched long for these switches and I don't think they are manufactured at all any more.

I cleaned a couple of the switches on my EX-800 and didn't experience the sticking that you are talking about.

Maybe your EX-800 was in a smokey or dirty environment and the buttons are sticking within the black plastic shrouds?

Mike.

Subject: [korgpolyex] Finally opened my EX-800

Hi all,

Last night I finally opened up my EX-800 in an attempt to clean the
buttons and contacts. Thank you who ever posted the instructions!
Everything went smoothly except one thing.

The contacts now work great but a number of the actual buttons are now
sticking (the platic bit with the numbers on it). So I've had to
remove those and just press the litte white contact bits to manipulate
my EX-800.

Is there a fix for that? Are there replacement parts I can get
somewhere?

Help!

Mike
