Subject: Poly 800 mk2 MIDI implementation

From: Michael Hawkins <korgpolyex800@...>
Date: 2008-10-30

Hi all,

I am not certain that the MK2 MIDI sysex patch format is the same as the EX.

I suspect it is different because the parameters are numbered differently and there are the additional effects parameters in the MK2 as well.

So if anyone has the MK2 service manual it would be great to get the MIDI implementation documentation into our files section.

Mike

Hmm actually I was loading a EX-800 factory bank-lights flashed, midi
ox progress bar went fine. Pretty much assumed all went well. Went to
send a small bank of some user patches for the EX and nothing seems
to change.

So I ∗may∗ have been 100 percent wrong to assume...

the data dump for the EX is F0 42 21 01 10 F7
