Subject: Re: New Feature - LFO and DCO modulation sync'ed to MIDI or onboard sequencer

H JB,

I'll leave the code that's up on my site there for now but...

I don't see much point in having MIDI or the onboard sequencer
clocking the LFO1 which only does DCO modulation. The LFO2 which runs
the VCF MG sounds great but the DCO MG is kinda pointless. Let me know
what you think of it once you test it.

With the LFO set to 0 (slowest) it takes 256 clocks to cycle
completely which means it cycles in 42.666666... MIDI time clocks.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is do you want the LFO to cycle in
perfect time with MIDI so that it will always end on a known timing
point or did you just want to slow down the LFO? Because I have two
SLFO's in the works which will do those nice slow sweeps if that's
what you're looking for.

The sequencer clock driven sweeps I worked tested this afternoon sound
awesome but they are not in precise time with the beats of the
sequence being played.

I was thinking about another feature. How about an EG3 retrigger done
with MIDI or onboard sequencer? In this way, you could have EG3
provide a smooth sweep that was repeated.

Since I put the kit out there I've become a little fanatical about
feedback. I guess I was hoping my kit would solve world musician
hunger. LOL

Mike.
