You know Atom,
Now that you've mentioned your particular brand of self delusional
group think in an email directly, and since I have direct experience
with the far east, what me being a new Australian American Citizen and
having spent some months on business in New Zealand too, having
traveled through Asia on business extensively and worked for 25 odd
years for those evil, nasty American corporations, let me ask you just
one question.
While in the US, did you ever write or phone your congressman?
The reason I ask is because absolutely every single person that I've
spoken to that has held similar sentiments as you hold has NEVER
called or written their congressman. It's all whining, complaining and
pontificating repeating the current liberal talking points but NEVER
active involvement in the political process. Someone once said,
Democracy is not a spectator sport.
Good luck in New Zealand, where they have NO AIR FORCE! They'll be
relying on the great United States of America to rescue them some day
- AGAIN. And as we have always done, Australia will stand up beside
the US and fight for your freedoms to.
And for those who don't know, I am mourning the loss of my greatest
intellectual icon and role model, William F Buckley Jr. who passed on
yesterday. Goodbye and God speed dear friend. You will be missed by a
multitude.
And God save the Western World,
Mike.
