there are a number of ways that you can proceed
there are two tape level switches, lo and hi

if you are seeing no flickering at all, try setting the tape switch on the back of the korg to hi, and set the output volume from your pc or playback device to maximum

if you are not ever seeing err or good, it means that your signal is most likely not loud enough.

keep trying until you get an err
onve you see that, reduce the PC volume some and retry

just keep trying and you will eventually get to a volume where you see good!

i used my mac, and itunes.

with itunes volume at around 80% and the mac master volume on full, and the tape switch on hi i finally got it to read
