I don't know what the factory specs are, but up a fith and down an octave is most useable. I'm not sure about the extra 35 cents tho.. I use my poly live a lot and I it would be a pain to have to adjust my slider every night. Also, I don't want to have any unpleasant surprises if I accidently bump it. Slider full up should be as close to a fith or octave as possible. Of course its not that big of a deal in the studio. Just my 2 cents...

I asume that Mr Korgpoly800 wants to get his controller setting as
close to factory as possible. Up a fifth and 35 cents and down an
octave and 35 cents is what a properly calibrated Poly800 joystick
should do with the pitch bend slider at 10.

Those are musically useful settings.

It might be time to 'pop the hood' and spin a pot on yours.
