Excuse me funkeymonkey but the name is KorgPolyEx800. Don't leave the
Ex out. I mean, I wouldn't call you funkmonkey. ;-)
From my work with adding portamento into the Poly 800 my experience is
that the range of the bend is a full one octave. So it seems very
strange that the service manual would say a full octave down and up a
fifth because I just don't think the Poly could ever do that.
Perhaps it's a typo or maybe the wording is ambiguous. What does it
say precisely?
