But if they work straight out of the box, which would be a miracle, then you never know what your luck might be. :-)
I'm certainly glad my kit is getting so much attention. The real question is going to be "how many people want to spend 100 bucks on a kit that gives you glitchy portamento mono mode"?

Further testing last night revealed that the bend is so slow to react
to changes at higher slide rates that the portamento rapidly turns
into stepped DCO semitone changes. So it sounds best at really slow
rates where you glide from one octave to another over a period of 5 to
10 seconds. Even then you can still hear the little glitches. My last
option now is to try to speed up the master clock reaction to bend
changes and try to improve the sample and hold circuit. I wish I had a
frequency counter and oscilloscope right now.
But, when I run into walls like this I take a break so that I can come
back to it with a fresh perspective so I think I'll leave it all alone
as I have other pressing work to do.
Wish those 5 boards would get here soon.
