Subject: Hardware update - going to PCB production run

YES! That's right, I've finished the initial PCB design and am now
officially talking to Futurlec about producing a short run of maybe 10
units to verify the design.

Along with the additional RAM and ROM comes space for two 16 pin chips
and four 8 pin chips so that we'll be able to squeeze some more
hardware mod's onto the board.

You never know, we might have a kit ready for Christmas after all.

The next question will be how we progress with software development.
Once people start buying and installing the kit, I expect there will
be a flurry of requests for new features. Truth is though, I think the
best way forward will be for us to form a software development group
on sourceforge.net and put the code out there for everyone to work on.

Anyone want to brush up on the assembly language programming skills?

Mike.
