Well, I took a pair of side cutters and desoldering tools to my almost
unrepairable Poly 800 to remove the EPROM socket.

I am trying to have this kit ready for Xmas but it's looking a little
shaky at this stage. I think I probably have another week or two to
get the PCB design finished. If I don't get it done in that time then
I am afraid our xmas stockings won't have the upgrade kit in 'em this
year.
