Subject: Re: [korgpolyex] Strange acting of my poly

One of my poly800 came without a battery. I installed one on that too because it didn't keep the patches. I used a brand new 2032 battery for pcb. I preferred it over a pcb battery holder + battery assembly because I gig regularly with that poly 800 and it seemed much more solid (I have also a 15$ mp3 player with all the patches saved in my keyboard bag :) )

Hi everyone

I finally perform the mods that I wanted to do from a long time, but unfortunately since
then I have problem with memory. I have a Mk1 poly with no back up battery. I did the
eprom mod to be able to load some patches with sysex. It works great. Also I did the
moogslayer mod. And recently i did the FM800 and the audio input mod as well the 12/
24 DB filter. Everything work well. I'm really happy about it, but it looks that I have a
problem with the power supply since then. I can't save patches anymore. When I turn off
the poly I loose everything, even when the poly is plug. Is this ring a bell to somebody?
Also, I noticed something else . Before the mod (FM800-audio in, 12/24), I was able to
cut off the frequency near zero. I really loved that because I was able to do some
interesting wooshing FX, but now when I turn the knob way down, I can't turn the
frequencies to zero, I still heard a sound. Is this related to a mod that I perform?
I hope that is clear enough. I'm sorry, my english is poor. I hope someone will get it.

Thank for your answer.
Bernard
