Fran,
I was just being facecious. I haven't resorted to flow charts yet
because the disassembly is actually not too difficult to read - yet.
I happened to commute to work on the train this morning rather than
drive so I had an hour to work on the note on event handler and was
able to work out some more details about that. Most important, I
discovered the note value table for each of the eight DCO's and I
think I've found the table that holds the sustain/release mode for
each DCO also.
I also seem to have found the EG3 retriggering mechanisms and the
filter cutoff adjustment code snippets.
These are big improvements in my understanding of the real time
handling of note generation. From what I've seen of the EG3 code so
far, it looks like we could probably fit another EG into the code.
I don't own a Poly 800 MKII and its electronics is so different to the
original MKI that I don't propose to do anything on the MKII at all.
Someone else would have to pick up the ball and run with mods for the
MKII so good luck with it.
Mike.
