easy: the chorus is where the signal turn stereo (on the poly800, dunno bout the ex).

I know on my DW-8000 it would happen in the delay. One channel would get
the normal delay output, and the other would get an inverted delay output.
Very simple but it sounded good. Wouldn't surprise me if the Poly 800 used
the same setup..
