Subject: poly-800 4sale cheap

I have a P800 which i just parted out. Bought as a parts machine, it
wouldn't power on, so i took what i needed and now i'd like to send
you, her, him, it, anyone, the still-useful-as-a-parts-machine poly
800 keyboard (for the super low price of $10 plus actual S&H).

Basically it's a little less than half gone, and not functioning at
all. It won't start up, and all the parts i needed have been taken. I
don't know why it wouldn't start up as I bought it this way for the
parts. This means one complete set of keys are missing (I took the end
keys, and one of each inner type. I think there were 9 whites plus 2
blacks). There are a couple other keys missing from the keyboard, too
but there is at least one complete set of inner keys, plus a bunch
more. So if you need a key or two, this is for you. The joystick
assembly is also gone. There is no slider-knob assembly (tuning, speed
and bend). There is no cover knob for the joystick. There is no cover
plate for the joystick. There are no strap holders on the sides for
strap-o-rama. There is also one rubber foot missing. This is a Poly800
I. Not a II. No power source. No manual etc.

What's still there? The circuit boards (minus the joystick and
sliders), the keyboard assembly (minus the keys mentioned above), all
ports, the volume knob, the number buttons, which are in better shape
than the ones on my P800II, but the board is different (oh i wish i
could have replaced them; they're so worn out). The keyboard contacts
are there. The LCD display. I dunno. Make me an offer. The faceplate
is in good shape except for some sticker goo, so if you have a crappy
one you may want to clean this one and swap it out. Keep in mind that
the power was broken before, and i don't know why it was broken. That
means there's still a problem somewhere in this beast, and for all we
know it could be a fried board or something. So if you're looking for
a good main board this machine may not be your ticket. But then again,
it may just be the power cord port. Hmmm. Good luck! I'll email photos.

any takers?
