I'm sorry, but you got it all wrong. The "oscillators" are simply a
single chip digital 8-channel tone generator (MSM5232RS in the service
manual). It was used in a lot of arcade games, too.
Since everything in the Poly-800 is digitally controlled, why do you
think they didn't call the VCF "DCF" while they were at it?

obviously right is pitch up.

5th, i found that mine has to be set just above "9" or else it goes a
little flat when down and a little sharp when up.
