Archive of the former Yahoo!Groups mailing list: Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

Hello,

I recently bought my Poly 800 and love the sounds of it. But there's
one problem: when I try to link the seqencer to the rest of my
equipment (Korg EA-1 & ES-1) it just plays along the midi-masters note
setting (EA-1) whatever channel it is set to and the sequenced part
gets kinda mixed up with the masters sound setting.
Is this normal? What can I do to avoid it? I was thinking of buying an
external sequencer like the Yamaha QY Series. Could this be a way to
get around the problem?
