a friend just picked up a reverse key poly 800. it was old and dirtyand had key contact problems. after he took it apart, cleaned it, andput it back together with a set of fresh batteries, he discovered thatmany of the patches had parameter values other than what were supposedto be there. he is able to edit freely but once he brings a value backinto normal range, he can't return to the twilight zone. however, ifthe memory location is reset without being overwritten, the hiddenvalues are restored. in other words, these parameters are saved inmemory. so, he's been programming in some great aleatorictextures. i've got an ex800 and would like to access these parameters,but i think i would likely have to de-and-resolder the internalbattery, or....what? has anyone here been able to access theseparameters, other than via the moogslayer mod? it's not only theresonance and cutoff values that are affected, he can access higheroctaves and other stuff.
