Subject: Scavenging Mono/Poly Replacement Keyboard

From: synthmans@gmail.com
Date: 2015-01-10

1)  Had to find a keyboard that would work with my Mono/Poly which came without one ('as-is').  Turns out my old Roland TP-20 (very mundane 'teaching piano')  has the proper pinout and diode/key switch matrix to be a drop in replacement.

Not that these are common keyboards, but might be useful info for others out there.... also, the scanning matrix supports a full 4 octaves, but I chopped the keyboard to fit the case which support 3 1/2 octaves. ; )

2) Had a sticky Effects button so popped off the yellow cap and carefully sprayed a bit of Deoxit contact into the switch actuator... seems to work 'okay' as a quick/temporary fix until I get the replacement switch contact that fits the plastic actuator/keycap.
