The only multipin jack on 101's I have seen is much smaller, about 1/2"
diameter and it has 4 pins. I kinda doubt they would use this larger multi
on the 101, it is about double that size with about a dozen pins. Unless
they just ran out of the smaller plugs and had to use them. But then
wouldn't there only be the need to hard wire 4 of the actual pins? The
multi on the MP has each of the pins hard wired to a specific jack. I think
it's more likely it was to go to the sequencer or possibly the 200 or 300.
Since the jack is labeled "SYNTO INTERFACE" I suppose it's possible they
were cooking up something new too. Anyone ever heard of a Synto?
