Sorry guys, I lied. The 3026 is actually aDIP package with 6 NPN transistors inside. Two of the transistors are preciselymatched. EML used it in their systems for the modulator/ amplitude shapercircuit on the 101 They use the matched pair for the differential input circuitand string the other 4 into a constant current source to specifically heat thechip in order for it to work in a constant-temperature environment forstability purposes.
