Archive of the former Yahoo!Groups mailing list: eml synthesizers

Does anyone know of a few sites where I can find freeware and shareware
music programs for mac? What I'm mainly looking for is a program where
I can cut and paste tracks and do sample editing.
I hope someone can help me out.
