I recently scored an SDS800 in near-mint condition, which I picked up to replace my old one which - although working 100% - has some spots of corrosion and faded silk screening.  The only thing wrong with this one was that it had some knob caps missing. "No big deal", I thought, "I'll just swap those with my old SDS800 which looks tough anyway." When I got it home though I realized the color schemes don't match(?!) Instead of being the typical blue, green & beige that I see most often, this one (with an earlier serial number) has sea-green, forest green & beige. I took a few photos:

Everything else looks the same except for the color of the power cord (earlier=black, newer=grey).

Assuming this was done at Simmons, and not by a previous owner, I guess Simmons realized that the two greens were too similar and changed the sea-green over to blue at some point...

Anyway, I need some replacement knob caps! Does anyone have two spare beiges and two of this sea-green?

hoping,
