Hi Jeff !
I think the system soft needs to be the first file ever recorded on the HD (before anything else) & it should then boot automatically at each start ...
Hope this helps !
Patrice.

Subject: [Simmons Drums] Re: importing samples into the SDX
Hello, the SDX does support MIDI sample dump standard (SDS) under software
version 2.1g and 3.11 (xseq). I have successfully transferred samples
between the SDX and a Mac using Passports "Alchemy" software. I believe that
the "Peak" software, from Bias, also supports this standard. On another
note, I recently reformatted a scsi disk on my SDX. I would like to boot up
the system from the scsi drive. What do I need to rename the startup disk to
in order to boot from scsi? I know there is some trick to this, I just
forgot what it was. Thanks!
