BTW i think that the SDS1000 is a limited but very unique sounding drum module.

nothing quite sounds like it.

they are cheap enough that everyone should have one!

I am not "into" the 1000 in the moment, but I remind, that with fitted midi parts the software (Eprom) had to be changed. I have a midi 1000, check you version (on the software Eproms top), then we know more. If somebody is interested in different snare sounds, I can sell some Eproms for the 1000 too...
