Subject: Mystery SDS7 Module

Hi everybody,

I bought an SDS7 card from ebay a few weeks ago for a very reasonable price. My SDS7 is not working at the moment but I couldn't pass it up. It got delivered to my parents house by mistake so I had them take some pictures of it which you can see here:

I'm no expert on how these things work but I've compared these pics to my other SDS7 cards and it looks like there are a few pieces missing, though if something has been desoldered, it has been done pretty cleanly.

There is no name on the yellow block on the front to identify what type of module it is. Is this common? Can anyone identify it?

Now I think it will require some repair, but can it be revived? Or is it missing parts that I will probably never be able to source? Is this a lost cause. I feel I have a duty to try.

Onto the parts I can identify does anyone know where I can get any of the blue plastic holders which the EPROM's are seated in? Also the knobs + caps (they look similar to the small SDSV ones?)

Thanks!

Chris
