...and don't forget the 1k Ohms resistor between pin 1 and 2 of the pad xlr, otherwise you have no real work level for your sensitivity pot.

true. Basically it works but you will get distorted sounds. The first generation of SDS7 pads work ok, but SDS9 are too soft
