Yes!

There's the Simmons TMI too, cheaper and it only works from trig to midi,
not the other way around. But it works great (I have one).

Most real things do, and therefor most Simmonsstuff do too...

But to be honest, if you're into sample playing... why don't you get a newer
so called "state of the art" kit. Roland maybe? Ddrum?

I think the above view on it sound like asking about driving safety in a
group discussing the model T Ford... ;)
