One extra tom compared to the standard setup. Always good to fill the
boring blanks. :)

Check the archives, but as I recall there were quite recently
discussions regarding this. I seem to remember that it was the IC
associated with the switches, but I can't promise my brain is with me on
that one. I semi-payed attention 'cause my hihat module is have similar
ideas though it works after having been switched on a while.

"Triggering properly" should mean original hexaheads. :P But if you mean
by hitting pads I think that should work well if you just search for the
correct level settings and the odd XLR-solderings of the SDS-V.
