Back in 2002, I have seen a picture of an SDX kit that used the Hexa Head, SDS2000, and Mini Hex pads here
http://www.sub-sound.co.uk/sdxdetails.htmlThis was before I ever saw the actual pads that went to the set and when I was doing more research on Simmons drum kits when I was on the hunt for a Simmons drum kit back then.
I am wondering if the response would be completely different from the ZI pads that were made for the unit. I think they would.
