Hi Andy !

As it happens, I´m currently servicing a bunch of SDSV modules so I can maybe help you out on this.

3 of the modules have had 230V on it´s +/-15V rails !! Needless to say that all IC´s are busted. The other 3 have various faults ( Hi Jesper !! ).

The Noise is generated in the LM301 circuit. From there it is passed on to the SSM filter. Try listening for noise at the input of the SSM. It could be that the SSM is busted !

Do you have the schematics ?
