Subject: Betr: Re: [Simmons Drums] Potentiometers SDSV $ SDS7

Hi man
sorry to help some people out off a dream but
simmons has nothing to do with rocket science. I've never repaired one but
the components used are standard pot's etc. At least back in those days.
So some transistors may be run in by time, but like pot's etc, that's standard
stuff. Think for yourself way it makes sense ( answer: standard components
are way cheaper??yes that's the answer)
so take your sds 1/2/3/4/5/7/9∗ etc to an electronica (component)store nearby
and point at the component you want (inside the module) and make sure that
the GUY (sorry) understands what you want. He'll get it for you and you just
pay the bill. Everybody happy, right?
good luck with the repair and have fun

Yours sincerely
Berk
