Subject: Bass Module SDS5

The bass module is the same pcb like snare, tom and analogue hh/cym. The LFO is, like on toms, not fitted. The differences are:
Int. R25 full open means noise bend max, no filter res control (parts R74,10k and pot R27 missing).R72 (controls amount of noise) is only 16k on bass. The wire bridge a-middle-b near IC2 has to be set to pos a-middle. If you want to change a tom module to a bass, you have to change only this. If you want to change a snare to a bass, you have to remove the snares LFO (R52 - R61, C15, TR 7, IC 16). If there is a 100nF capacitor fitted on the solder side for creating the rimshots on snare, remove it too. On snare, there is no R118, that has to be 270k on bass. For C17 choose 2n2, the original on snare is smaller.
I hope, this will help.
Michael
