The thing is: I wished Dave made some more comments
then this forum would be much more alive ( haha)
my point is: I freaking love the Simmons shit (for as much I'm an expert,don't
know all his shit, it's also for nostalgia reason, I mean the man nearly
invented Edrumming, and made it out to something)
It's more that I don't like it that schematics aren't available
Just to keep those goodies going on
I WOULD NOT MIND PAYING FOR THEM
( a fair price offcourse, not a "collector's item price)
MAn I paid a fortune for my SDX and then I found out that there wasn't anything
on the internet. That's for a poor musician a great risk, owning a drumkit
which you can't play in a band ( to fragile, heavy) and just have it at your
garret
eating dust just for nostalgia reasons. So when the guy comes along who pays
the price I want to have, just sold the beast. Man it still psses me off,
but I was short on the money
Whatever reason people use Edrums I don't mind as long it's not for rplacing
"real" drums
(Oeps I do that too, roland handsonic (great fun, could come close to being
"perfect", great response but a drag to program " a chance missed ) with
2 kick pedals and hihat controller ( easy for the gigs where I normally use
a shitload off "real" percussion which gets blown away by all those nice
" collegues")
I hate myself really for it, but then again, I play tabla bongo, conga and
all, just with the same techniques And I'm a kind off practical person (
since my kids were born and I don't have any time left to really learn to
play and instrument
Enough off me
it's time for something new
How about those "mandala" pads danny carrey off TOOL is using
anyone over here who played them, heared them ( except for the new TOOL album)
And what about the AddOne ( two??) from dynacord
Is this an ok machine patrice??
I thought it was mainly a sampler
