I'll remember this if I ever buy a decently priced SDS-7.
Some OT but interesting info - It's amazing how cheap the solutions were
(and are) in the music industry sometimes. I have a Star Instrument Synare
PS-1 on the workbench so to speak and the triggering system is cheapest
possible with two sheets of aluminium and some sticky tape holding the
pieces together but also half a millimeter apart. When hit with a stick they
make contact and sound is triggered.
