Bad idea - I guess you'd want dynamic control - right? Then the MC-4 isn't
the best choice + that it's messy to program.
If dynamics isn't a big thing but mdi is I'd suggest some of the homebrew
stuff occasionally sold on Ebay or even a Kenton with Kadi out (that's what
I use since I'm modifying my midi2sdsII). The latter is also available again
soon I think... Paul?

If dynamics are important I'd certainly suggest the midi2sds. But that means
you need a midi sequencer anyway... well...

How about an analogue step sequencer then? What's your setup now? Are you a
drumming drummer och a sequencing synthgeek? This list tend to be dividable
in those two categories... ;)
